Antique George Jones Abbey Ware Blue And White Pottery Bowl
This is a wonderfully vibrant, 6 Inch, Antique George Jones Abbey Ware Blue And White Pottery Bowl. It is blue and white with images of Abbeys around the sides.
Dates to approximately 1901 but is based on the Adams Abbey Wreath design from 1846. Made by George Jones and Sons Ceramics, Abbey pottery 1861-1951, whom bought many of Adams designs/patterns.
An unusual shape as the base of the bowl is circular but the neck is octagonal.

In excellent condition, with no cracks, chips or restoration it does have some crazing and manufacturing defects e.g. air bubbles.
